Lily, the creator of Curiosity Pack, joins me to talk education, creativity and kids! She’s got all the goods in terms of being able to put together fun and engaging learning experiences for your child. Lily is all about the joy of learning and helping kids (and their parents) to find it! We also talk Bay Area pizza, but at this point it should be no surprise that the conversation ended up there…
It was a real thrill to talk to Chris aka Caspar Babypants for this weeks show. I think that his music is so great and certainly qualifies as double certified mega Good Stuff. Caspar has a new album coming out in just a few days and it will definitely be a worthy addition to your collection. This is a goooooooood one!
Let’s set the scene – One afternoon I was watching ‘Go Diego Go’ with my daughter and saw that the head writer’s name was Ligiah Villalobos. So, what’s a fledgling podcaster to do? I looked Ligiah up on twitter and messaged her asking if she wanted to come on the show. She said yes! My kids love ‘Go Diego Go’ and it certainly qualifies as Good Stuff in my household. I think you’ll enjoy hearing all of the behind the scenes information that Ligiah shares about what it’s like to create a show like ‘Diego’.
Bill Childs from Spare the Rock, Spoil the Child is on the show this week. Spare the Rock is a radio show based out of Austin, TX and it is also a well known podcast. Bill has been promoting “kindie” music for many years and has helped out many artists. It was interesting to hear Bill’s perspective on kids music and the work that he does.
I also “horsed around” with Will this week. Will loves math competitions and it was so so so fun to talk to him about that.
Dan Nichols joined me this week for a really fun talk about music, basketball, and cheesy nuggets. I’ve known Dan for years and it was really cool to hear him talk about his music and what inspired him. He has a new album, ‘i believe’ coming out in the next couple of weeks, and ahead of that you can hear his new song “No One” at the end of the show. It rocks. A lot. A lot a lot.
