Ever dreamed of being in a band when you are banging on a pot or stomping your foot? Well, the band that you dreamed about is Funkinships! The band was founded by Derek and Charlie, but their attitude is that anyone who wants in is in! They call their music “post folk absurdist”, and it is that and more. A Double Whammy! Dana Nachman and Jake Broder are on the show this week. Dana is the director of the documentary film BatKid Begins. You may remember San Francisco being transformed by the Make a Wish foundation into Gotham City for a young boy named Miles who fought leukemia. Dana documented the proceedings of an event that captivated the hearts and minds of over one billion people (myself included).
