I love The Go! Team. The music that they make is phenomenal and brilliant and incorporates so many different styles that I love. I was thrilled to be able to talk to Ian Parton from the band about the song ‘Chain Link Fence’ from their brand new album ‘Semicircle’. I loved that the lyrices talked about working on a relationship. The ideas are as important for adults as they are for kids. Granted, this episode is a bit of a departure, but I do think there are a lot of relevant ideas for kids and families in this conversation with Ian. I got to talk to Pevan & Sarah during the hottest part of the Australian summer. I mostly spoke to Sarah actually, and Manny another big part of Pevan and Sarah. Pevan was keeping cool in the air conditioning and couldn’t make our chat. That’s ok with me. I don’t know how much I’d have to say to a tiger! Luckily Sarah and Manny were really fun to talk to and could answer all of my questions about Pevan without putting me in danger. You’ll love hearing about some great music makers from Australia.
