Princess Awesome are on the show this week! Rebecca and Eva tell us all about what makes their clothes so unique and fun. How about dresses with robots, dinosaurs, ninjas or pirates? Princess Awesome has you covered. My dad (Grandpa Goodstuff) says I say “awesome” too much, but in this case?! There’s no other word to use.
It was great to talk to Rebecca and Eva about their clothing line and hear how they started their business and what they’re up to now. A big shoutout to Sister Goodstuff for introducing me to Princess Awesome.
We also wake Uncle D up from his post bachelor party nap and have a brand new set of songs on 4+1.
Whoa! Two bonus episodes this week! We are literally overflowing with good stuff. Joe Lawson the man behind the marketing at Rovio (the game company that created Angry Birds) is on the show. We talk all about the Angry Birds movie as well as the games and all other types of Angry Birds good stuff! Big thanks to Joe for hanging out with me!
Additionally, Zachy returns and gives his review of the movie.
Who puts out two brand new albums of hot and fresh kid friendly rock and roll? Chibi Kodama! That’s who!
I had a blast talking to all seven members of the band! That’s right seven! And they’re all in the same family. I loved talking with them and I hope that you enjoy this bonus episode.
**Update** Episode has been re-edited and reposted! Visit your favorite podcast source to get the updated Chibi Kodama episode.
Vered joins the show this week! We page Dr. Eric, Horse Around with Ava, 4+1, and a debut segment called The Way it Was With Uncle D. A jam packed show!
Vered is a very talented singer/songwriter who writes about all aspects of parenting from watching your baby strive for independence to what reality is like for parents. We had a pretty great talk about what’s behind her songwriting.
Dr. Eric checks in and finally explains “what the heck is a hiccup?” Ava horses around and Uncle D joins the show to talk about what life used to be like!
Sam from the Drip Drop Cone is on the show! I was blown away by Sam and his business partner Oliver when I saw them on Shark Tank a few weeks ago. I thought their business idea was amazing! Finally! A way to make eating ice cream a less sticky scenario with young kids. Sam was kind enough to talk to me after a tennis tournament. He’s a well spoken and classy guy who now has a Shark Tank deal with Barbara Corcoran!
