Colors! Or should I say Colours! Marlowe and the Mix are a super fun, poppy, and energetic group from Toronto, Canada. She also has a strong and positive message. I loved talking to Marlowe about her music and what it means to her to create high energy music for kids to enjoy. She is an award winner in Canada, specifically the Independent music awards. Her music is so great, my 5 year old daughter is sitting by my side, completely entranced with the music, as I write this! Check Marlowe out!
We’re also lucky that Uncle D checked in from a remote location.
Eric Energy (Eric Krupkin) is all about fun and science. He puts the two together to make a live show where kids of all ages are having as much fun laughing and smiling as they are learning. If you love fog, potions, and laser lights then this episode is for you!
I’ve actually known Eric for many many years. I just hadn’t talked to him or seen him in a very long time. I was and still am thrilled to reconnect with him. More of the story in the episode!
A double whammy in honor of episode #60! Rabbit! is releasing an EP on Tuesday called the Golden Carrot. They are fun to talk to, make great music to listen to, and are totally certified Good Stuff approved. Be sure to check out their brand new song ‘Vegetables’ at the end of the show.
Josh Funk is an author who has written some extremely witty and fun books for kids. His latest book will be released on May 2 and it’s called ‘The Case of the Stinky Stench’ which is a sequel to his book ‘Lady Pancake and Sir French Toast’. It was really great to hear all about how Josh writes and then publishes his books. He also has the greatest email address in modern history. I’m not going to tell you what it is, but it involves funk, and you know how we feel about funk here at the Good Stuff Kids Podcast.
Mini Golf! You love it, I love it, everyone loves it! Mr. Tee (Tom) and The Pink Putter (Robin) take their love of Mini Golf to an amazing level. They have a website called a A Couple of Putts where they review various mini golf courses around the country. They’ve also designed several mini golf holes, and they shared some awesome advice on how young mini golf enthusiasts can build their own holes at home!
