Jodi Norgaard and Kara Thom from Go! Go! Sports Girls have created some unique and creative sports themed dolls and accompanying stories for girls (or anyone) who love sports. They encourage young athletes to “be fierce and sparkle” as well as the ingenious hashtag #athleteisthenewprincess. It was great to hear how the idea came to be as well as where the dolls have taken Jodi and Kara (ie. The White House!). These dolls make great holiday gifts… if you know what I’m saying.

Do you think Ghost’s like toast? My buddies Andrew & Polly talked with me about my 4 year old’s favorite song. The Andrew & Polly version of the classic Ghostbusters song. It was a blast to hear how the song came together, and I even learned about a new instrument! The theremin! Andrew & Polly’s own podcast Ear Snacks just returned for season 2. Don’t miss it. Be sure to check out more from some of our Kids Listen buddies who participated in a Halloween themed mini sweeps. Have you listened to The Past and the Curious? How about What if World? Give them a listen!
Suzanne Brown does it all! Books, music, videos, classes, teaching, and on and on! Check out her Youtube channel. You don’t want to miss this! She is a true expert and has contributed so much to the world of family entertainment.
Are you ready for this? I spoke to Magic Ian and Dr. Saurus from A Horse, A Spoon, A Bucket one sunny summer day not too long ago. They are committed! We talked about a lot of different things like gophers, vegetables, and puppy’s. This was a lot of fun. Check them out. Stay tuned for their song ‘Vegetables’ at the end of the show.
