Jack Forman, the bass player and all around GREAT guy from Recess Monkey, is on the show this week! We talk the brand new Recess Monkey album “Novelties” and other favorite songs. Jack also hosts a show on Sirius XM’s “Kid’s Place Live” called Live from the Monkey House. Be sure to check that out!
Uncle D and Auntie C are also on the show and try to explain “Tinder” and “Bumble” to me, and of course there is our weekly 4+1 countdown.
A Double Whammy! Dana Nachman and Jake Broder are on the show this week. Dana is the director of the documentary film BatKid Begins. You may remember San Francisco being transformed by the Make a Wish foundation into Gotham City for a young boy named Miles who fought leukemia. Dana documented the proceedings of an event that captivated the hearts and minds of over one billion people (myself included).
Jason Didner from the Jungle Gym Jam is on the show for a bonus episode! His new album Lollipop Motel is a summer fun beach blast straight from the Jersey Shore! Jason also shares the very worthwhile causes that he supports through sales of his music.
I had a great time talking to Jason about music, sea lions, the beach, and of course… funnel cake! Be sure to check out Jason’s music and help him raise money for a very important cause.
Here’s a photo of Jason and his wife from their latest gig on the beach at Coney Island:
Looking for songs for your family that immediately sound warm, familiar, and are appealing to kids and adults? You’ve found them! Johnny Bregar is on the show and talks about his incredible music and what it means to be “kindie”. Make sure you hear Johnny’s story about one of his coolest musical moments as it is pretty close to the ultimate rock and roll dream! The best part of talking to him was that he was as authentic and great as his music is. Make sure you check out his website to learn more about him!
We also Page Dr. Eric, horse around, and of course countdown the top 4 songs as requested by my kids.
Princess Awesome are on the show this week! Rebecca and Eva tell us all about what makes their clothes so unique and fun. How about dresses with robots, dinosaurs, ninjas or pirates? Princess Awesome has you covered. My dad (Grandpa Goodstuff) says I say “awesome” too much, but in this case?! There’s no other word to use.
It was great to talk to Rebecca and Eva about their clothing line and hear how they started their business and what they’re up to now. A big shoutout to Sister Goodstuff for introducing me to Princess Awesome.
We also wake Uncle D up from his post bachelor party nap and have a brand new set of songs on 4+1.
