Laurie Berkner is a very popular musician who writes songs that your kids will love. She’s also an incredibly nice and funny person. I stumbled upon her music years ago and it’s been a large part of my families musical repertoire since that fateful moment I heard about Laurie and the pig on her head. Laurie has a brand new album ‘Superhero’ coming out this Friday. I didn’t edit out the tail end of our conversation because I think it gives further proof to the kind of person that Laurie Berkner is: gracious, kind, and a pleasure to talk to.
Laurie was an early influence on why I started the Good Stuff Kids Podcast. I couldn’t believe that I had never heard of her or her music and at the time I had been working in a preschool as a music teacher for several years.
